Which type of brick should you choose?
There are several types of bricks: solid brick, hollow brick, decorative brick, and concrete brick.
The 8-inch hollow brick is the most commonly used for building interior and exterior walls, but additional insulation is required.
Honeycomb hollow brick (approximately 12 inches thick) offers excellent insulation. It helps retain heat in winter and naturally cools buildings in summer.
Solid brick (for load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls) is the traditional option. It provides good insulation, is fire-resistant, and very durable. However, it is more expensive than hollow brick.
Decorative terracotta brick is mainly used for interior walls and does not offer insulating properties.
